A Typical 4 Day Getaway Looks Like This...

A typical 4 day getaway with Velo Tours looks like this, based on an intermediate rider. Check out the trailer below too.

We recommend you get an early flight and a late return flight to make the most of your cycling time.

Day 1 – Arrive at the Velo Tours Villa around noon with a light lunch on arrival

Check the bikes for fitting and Dave will take you out for a spin in the valley to stretch the legs, and to ensure your bike set  up is suitable for you.

Return to the Villa where time is your own for you to relax

Evening meal is served around 7:30pm with 3 courses, beer, wine and soft drinks all included. Dave likes to discuss with the group the next days riding and amends the routes accordingly

Day 2 – Breakfast is served at 8:30 – 9:30 with a buffet style breakfast fit for a cyclist

Head out on the bike between 10 – 10:30 just to let the sun warm the valley up

For an intermediate group there will be a few challenging climbs including the Coll de Rates. The distance of the rides are up to 100kilometers, this is dependant on the group. There are also extra climbs which Dave likes to add in for those wanting more, these are usually situated with a café at the bottom so should you wish to opt out, you can. There is a lunch stop and café stops too.

Return to the Villa for Afternoon Tea and where time is your own for you to relax

Evening meal is served around 7:30pm with 3 courses, beer, wine and soft drinks all included.

Day 3 - Breakfast is served at 8:30 – 9:30 with a buffet style breakfast fit for a cyclist

Head out on the bike between 10 – 10:30 just to let the sun warm the valley up

Vall d’Laguar is usually on the cards, a beautiful route with amazing scenery and some challenging climbs to suit an intermediate rider. Lunch stop and café stops are also included.

Return to the Villa for Afternoon Tea and where time is your own for you to relax

Evening meal is served around 7:30pm with 3 courses, beer, wine and soft drinks all included.

Day 4 – Breakfast is served at 8:30 – 9:30 with a buffet style breakfast fit for a cyclist

Head out on the bike between 10 – 10:30 just to let the sun warm the valley up

Last day in the saddle with a coastal ride which usually includes ice cream! A beautiful route to check out some our sea fronts.

Return to the Villa to prepare to go home. We will provide a meal before you head off if you have a late flight back (flights returning about 10:00pm). Guests usually depart between 6pm – 7pm subject to flight times.
